Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated 30 September 2026

Publishly is a subscription service billed monthly or yearly through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Here is exactly how cancellations and refunds work — no conditions hidden further down.

14-day money-back guarantee

Every new subscription comes with a 14-day money-back guarantee. If Publishly is not right for you, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full, no questions asked and no reason required.

The guarantee applies once per agency, to the first payment on a new subscription.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from Billing → Manage subscription, which opens the Paddle customer portal. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and no further charges are made.

Cancelling does not delete your workspace. If you also want your data removed, delete the agency from Settings or write to hello@publishly.now.

How refunds are paid

Refunds are processed by Paddle to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. Paddle refunds the tax it collected along with the payment.

Renewal payments after the first 14 days are not covered by the guarantee — cancel before a renewal date to avoid the next charge. We will still consider a refund on a renewal if something went genuinely wrong on our side; ask us.

Yearly plans

A yearly plan is covered by the same 14-day guarantee from the date of the first payment. After that period a yearly subscription runs to the end of its term; you can cancel at any time to stop the following year’s renewal.

Plan changes and add-ons

Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated by Paddle for the remainder of the period. Downgrades apply at the next renewal, so you keep what you paid for until then.

Extra connected accounts and extra companies are billed on the same cycle as your plan and are prorated when you add them. Removing an add-on takes effect at the next renewal.

Your statutory rights

Nothing here limits rights you have by law. Consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days; this policy gives you at least that, and it is administered by Paddle as Merchant of Record.
